Strange Brew- Canadian Stereotypes

In Strange Brew Canadians are stereotyped as beer lovers that say eh a lot. We wear toques, flannel shirts and parkas all the time. Call each other hosers and hose heads. Love hockey and hockey. I think they portray Canadians as being stupid also. I don’t agree with these stereotypes. Some of them are true but they over emphasize it in the movie. We do say eh sometimes, but not at the end of every sentence like in the movie. Canadians don’t drink anymore beer and eat doughnuts than any other people. I have never heard anyone say hoser or hose head, besides Mr. Nickel, so I don’t know how that is a Canadian stereotype. Also Canadians don’t wear flannel shirts, toques and big coats. They make us look like, dumb, socially retarded people. I find this movie offensive as a Canadian, that does not wear a flannel shirt and toque every day, eat tones of doughnuts, love hockey or say eh restlessly.
