Between two furious oceans

Between Two Furious Oceans
1 I think that the poets description of Canada's regions are appropriate. He does a very good job of making a picture in your head. He has very accurate descriptions of each region and what kind of geography they have.
2 Yes the poet is concerned about the different Canadian landscapes. He compares and contrasts them. It shows that he is talking about the different landscapes and geography. He uses the contrasts to show the different regions so he can describe them in detail.
3 He talks about the east and west the land and the water
4 The poet missed all of northern Canada and some of Ontario and Quebec. He doesn't describe any of it.
5 The poet describes the east and west cost in the most detail. He describes the mountains, the lakes and rivers. He describes the minerals and the sky. He talks about the foothills. He talks about the maple groves and different colour leaves in the maratimes.

I Am Canadian
1 This poem is going to be about being a Canadian. It might tell what it means to be Canadian. It could could describe the landscapes and geography.

2
Its telling us about being Canadian. He is describing Canada From the east to the west form the north to the south. He gives memories of his mom baking pies, clambakes, and picnics. He tells what is the lifestyle is being a Canadian.

The poem describes Canada's landscape in an orderly fashion (from Western, BC - the Rocky Mountain to Eastern coast of Canada, the hills of the Maritimes -> Halifax)

    1. What are some descriptions given for the East coast, N.F.-L.B. region?

Apart from: Cool whisper of Laurentian breezes
the Laurentian wind current goes to the Labrador region

I think learning more about the Labrador region and its landscape is helpful to analyze the poem much more easier through: https://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/geography-of-newfoundland-and-labrador

or Google it: Newfoundland and Labrador is the easternmost province in Canada.

The Strait of Belle Isle separates the province into two geographical regions, Labrador and the island of Newfoundland. The province also includes over seven thousand small islands.

  5. The poem is concerned with comparisons and contrast in the Canadian landscape (i.e., green-jacketed hills; dusty badlands.)

What are some other examples? What I got...
    - Loud with ferocious rivers, and the still, imperious lakes
    - The vast green acres ...
    - Cold blue glaciers
    - The ROcky Mountains -> white with snow of centuries
    - The flat immenseness of the prairies, blue with unbounded space (blue -> the sky)

Are all to highlights about the diversity of the Canadian landscape
